DPN Needlecase

I am the most disorganized person on earth. I have WIPs, needles, yarn, scissors, measuring tapes all over the house. If you stick your hand under the sofa, chances are you will be poked by a needle. I decided to take control of the scene and as a first step, made a needlecase to store my DPNs. I know what you are thinking, I have bits of fabric and threads running all over the place, but that’s a different point altogether.

After futile googling for a simple needlecase pattern, I decided to just wing it. I measured my DPNs and knew what breadth and length of case I wanted. From then on it was simple math. After an hour of math and sewing, the needlecase was born. It might not be the prettiest, but it is functional. My DPNs have been living in their new home ever since and my place is tiny bit less messier.

All rolled up!

I am very pleased with this little sewing project. What have you been busy with these days? Knitting, crocheting, sewing or some new craft?
